Project Brief:<\/strong><\/p>\n The contract was awarded to CW-FWS JV in May 2023. This is the first project of FWS which involves majority in civil works. The project is an improvement works of Mui Wo Ferry Pier and reprovision of facilities in vicinity of the Pier.\u00a0 It consists of construction of a two-storey building at north of Mui Wo Ferry Pier to reprovision the existing cooked food market, dry goods stalls, public toilet, refuse collection point and public cycle parking area.\u00a0 Waterfront promenades with length of around 130m and 200m shall be constructed at north and south of the Pier, respectively, together with additional public cycle parking spaces and public car parking spaces along the promenades.\u00a0 An entrance plaza shall be constructed; and near the entrance plaza, to reprovision the bus terminus and taxi stand.\u00a0 In addition, cycle tracks, cycle parking areas, cargo loading and unloading area with parking spaces for goods vehicles and coaches shall be provided.\u00a0 Innovative, sustainable and new automation technologies and construction methods such as BIM, MiC, Web-base Monitoring System, etc. are extensively adopted in this project. New Engineering Contract, NEC4 is adopted to Condition of Contract.
